BATON ROUGE - Authorities filed charges today against the man who ran into an East Baton Rouge restaurant and broke a gas line this week.
State Police said Anthony Guidry, 25, of Port Allen was cited for reckless operation, having no insurance, and driving a vehicle while his license was suspended.
Guidry ran into a fast-food restaurant in the 9400 block of Burbank Drive Monday afternoon. The wreck struck a gas line in the business, forcing authorities to close part of Burbank while they turned off the gas.
Guidry had minor injuries from the wreck.
