LPSO: Woman in custody after shooting man
WALKER - Sheriff's deputies said a Livingston Parish woman is in custody after investigators said she shot a man Friday morning.
Deputies said the shooting happened at 26229 Walker South Road around 11 a.m. When they got on scene, deputies said they learned the woman shot the male victim in the leg.
Sheriff Jason Ard said the man was taken to a local hospital for treatment, while the woman was taken into custody.
Deputies did not release her identity, and said a motive for the shooting is unknown at this time.
