LPSO: Child injured after raising window on head
MAUREPAS - A two-year-old child is in critical condition after managing to remove a safety restraint in a car and raising a vehicle's window on his head.
The name of the child has not been released.
Deputies say when the child broke loose from the safety restraint he began to operate the window controls raising the window on his head. He was rushed to a hospital in Baton Rouge where he remains in critical condition.
No arrests have been made. Deputies say they are still investigating.
