LIVINGSTON - Deputies say a handful of arrests this month in Livingston Parish busted a three-parish burglary ring.
Deputies said Rachel Nicholson, Brian Fugler, and Sally Spence are responsible for a long string of burglaries. They said the crimes started in August, and ended when deputies arrested the crew ealier this month after a routine check of pawn shops turned up repeated sales by a member of the crew.
Raymond Mitchell's neighborhood in Denham Springs was one of the locations hit, and said the crimes made it hard to sleep at night.
"Now that they've caught them I'm glad, everyone can sleep a little bit better," he said.
The trio are also accused of stealing from homes in East Baton Rouge and Ascension parishes. Authorities in all three parishes are currently working together to return the stolen goods to their owners.
Nicholson and Fugler have a history of burglary arrests. Both were arrested in Livingston Parish in 2010.
