Loyola tennis coach leaving for USM

NEW ORLEANS- Loyola University New Orleans head men's and women's tennis coach Zubin Engineer has accepted the head men's tennis coaching position at the University of Southern Mississippi.

Dr. Michael Giorlando, Loyola's athletic director, the coaching move Wednesday and said a national search for a new coach is underway.

Engineerled the reinstatement of both the men's and women's programs. He spent four seasons coaching the Loyola women's team and three with the men's program. In his inaugural season, Engineer led the women's squad to four victories and a fifth place finish in the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference.
