Loupe shoots final day 75 at Texas Open to finish T4
SAN ANTONIO - Baton Rouge native Andrew Loupe didn't finish the Valero Texas Open with his strongest round of the weekend, but he did finish with his first top 10 and top 5 performance of his young career.
The former Episcopal and LSU standout shot a +3 (75) in the final round, placing him in a tie for fourth as Australian Steven Bowditch took the title.
The finish is expected to vault Loupe, playing in just his 8th career tournament, from 170 to 113 in the FedEx Cup rankings.
