SAPULPA, OK - A Louisiana woman is found dead in an Oklahoma field.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said Saturday the body is that of 41-year-old Mitzie Pace of Oak Ridge, Louisiana.

Officials say they were able to identify Pace, also known as Mitzie Meiley, through a fingerprint lifted from her body.

Agents say motorcyclists discovered Pace's body about 4 miles west of Sapulpa near Oklahoma Highway 33 Thursday afternoon.

Officials say she had trauma to her body that was consistent with a homicide.

She was wearing a short sleeve, white T-shirt with a bicycle printed on it, as well as denim jeans and leather boots with fur around the top and rubber soles.

Investigators say positively identifying Pace is a vital lead in the case.
