Louisiana state tax extensions must be filed online
BATON ROUGE - Taxpayers in Louisiana who need more time to submit their individual income or Corporation Income and Franchise Tax returns can no longer file an extension the traditional paper way, according to the state Department of Revenue.

According to the Department of Revenue, some tax preparation software my incorrectly offer printable Louisiana extension request forms. They said those forms were not valid, and won't be processed.
