Louisiana Seafood Cook-Off Saturday
NEW ORLEANS - The 7th Annual Louisiana Seafood Cook-Off will be on Saturday and pits 10 chefs from top Louisiana restaurants competing for the coveted "King of Louisiana Seafood" title.
Lt. Gov. Jay Dardenne and the Louisiana Seafood Promotion and Marketing Board are hosting the event, which is part of the New Orleans Wine and Food Experience.
Chefs competing are: Ryan Andre of Le Creole Baton Rouge; Scott McCue, Cypress Bayou Casino Hotel, Charenton; Scott Varnedoe, Restaurant IP, Baton Rouge; David Gotter, GG's Dine-O-Rama, New Orleans; David Dickensauge, Bin 77, Baton Rouge; Anthony Scanio, Emeril's Delmonico, New Orleans; Chris Montero, cafe b, Metairie; Chip Flanagan, Ralph's on the Park, New Orleans; Nick Oskoian, Nonna, Monroe; Aaron Burgau, Patois, New Orleans.
The cook-off is at 2 p.m. in the Morial Convention Center.
