A Baton Rouge man who worked for JP Morgan Chase Bank has been sentenced to 18 months in prison for embezzled more than $178,000 from the bank.
Federal prosecutors say the theft occurred between May 2006 and July 2007, when 35-year-old Jeremy Rayburn was employed as a personal banker for the bank in Metairie.
Rayburn was sentenced Thursday on one count of bank larceny.
