Louisiana High Speed Rail Study

The latest study of a high speed, passenger rail line between Baton Rouge and New Orleans could be complete by October. Louisiana could possibly use $300 million in federal stimulus money for the project.

Stations would include the Mall of Louisiana and Louis Armstrong Airport.

One way tickets are estimated in the $10 to $12 range.

Critics say rail service is a waste of your state and federal tax money.
