BATON ROUGE - With the help of a business incubator, two Prairieville brothers' dream is nearing a reality.

Michael and Matthew Taranto always dreamed of making their own video game.

"I guess as I grew up I just decided that's what I wanted to do with my job. It always seemed like a really fun job to do, so to be able to do that today at the tech park is a really great opportunity for us," said Matthew.

The brothers created "Tadpole Treble," an adventure game where you swim through sheet music while running up your score. They've been working on the game for several years now under their company BitFinity. The brothers approached Nintendo with the video game and the company approved the indie game for the Wii U console.

"Sometimes we don't even know that, I guess, the scope of what we're doing," said Michael. "We're hoping that it's going to be a great game and a success, but just making something that we can put our hearts into is enough for me to get excited about."

The Taranto brothers' dream became a reality when the Louisiana Technology Park, which is funded by grants, gave the two a spot in its Level Up Lab. The lab is fit with the essentials to make a video game.

"We would actually be in a lot worse position. Thanks to the incubation program at the tech park we've been able to nurture our video game concept," said Michael.

"I'm really thankful for that," said Matthew. "I'm really thankful for the tech park for being able to provide all this great stuff for us, and I'm also thankful for all of our fans that helped us with the kickstarter to launch this dream as well."

"Tadpole Treble" is slated to hit the Wii U in December.
