Louisiana companies gain, lose on Fortune 500 list
MONROE- The Fortune 500 company based here, one of only two in Louisiana, dropped in the rankings when the 2014 list was released.
CenturyLink fell from 150th to 158th. Its revenue was in the ball park of $18 billion.
But, New Orleans' Entergy Corp. grew in the rankings. It's revenue increased to a figure around $11 billion, carrying it to the 242nd position. Previously, it was listed as 261st.
