Louding sentenced to life in prison without parole
BATON ROUGE - A judge sentenced Michael "Marlo Mike" Louding to life in prison without parole today for the murder of Terry Boyd in 2009.
Judge Trudy White called Louding a "cold-blooded hit man," and said he'd been "infected" by Torrence Hatch, the rapper known as Lil Boosie, and sent out on a "murder mission."
Louding still faces charges in five other murders.
Investigators said when he was arrested in 2010 Louding confessed that Hatch paid him to carry out the killings. Prosecutors said Louding changed his story on the stand during Hatch's murder trial, and the rapper was later found not guilty.
