Livingston Parish made a deal!
LIVINGSTON- An olive branch has apparently been extended among feuding parish leaders in Livingston Parish.
Leaders, upset over roads, have been at odds over hiring a contractor to do repairs. Parish council members were upset the parish president hired a firm without their consultation.
After a discussion, the engineer has withdrawn the contract and will submit the proposal through a request for proposal, also known as an RFP.
The Livingston Parish road program is set to be discussed at the next council meeting.
