LIVINGSTON PARISH – Officials in Livingston Parish decided Saturday to implement a curfew for residents from dusk until Monday morning.

Parish President Layton Ricks, along with Sheriff Jason Ard and LOHSEP Director Mark Harrell, said the curfew will only affect areas hardest hit by flood waters.

Officials say the curfew will be strongly enforced in those areas for everyone's safety.

Anyone needing assistance can contact the Livingston Parish Emergency Operations Center Hotline at 225-686-3996.
