Livingston man faces 100 charges of child porn

BATON ROUGE - The Attorney General's Office announced that investigators accused Livingston man of 100 counts of child pornography this week.

Authorities arrested Richard Mudd, 47, Tuesday and booked him into the Livingston Parish jail on 50 counts of possession and another 50 counts of distributing child porn.

The arrest came after a joint investigation involving the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office, Homeland Security Investigations, and the Attorney General's Cyber Crime Unit.

If convicted, Mudd could face up to 20 years in prison fro each count.
