DENHAM SPRINGS - Four people were hurt, including a state worker, when a state dump truck crashed head-on into an SUV in Livingston Parish.

The wreck happened on La. 16 near Griffin Lane earlier Thursday morning.  The road was closed for much of the day.

A four people were taken to the hospital.

The crash is still under investigation. 

The wreck was one of a few that caused issues during the Thursday morning commute.
