Due to the recent heavy rains over the past 2 days some flooding is occuring around Southeast Louisisna. Rainfall totals have been around 2 to 6 inches. This has caused area rivers to run high, and some are even going above their flood stage. The National Weather Service in Slidell, LA has issued numerous River Flood Warnings. For the latest information on current river stages and forecast crests, see below:
