A common New Year's resolution is to lose weight. Many work at it be dieting and exercising but sometimes it gets to a point where you need some help.
That's when it's a good time to start considering liposuction. In Wednesday's "Expert Advice" segment Dr. Anthony Stephens answers a viewers question about the procedure.
Stephens first states that liposuction is not a weight loss substitute for extremely obese people. He said it's rather a procedure to help contour specific "problem areas" on the body such as the hips, stomach, chin, backside and other places of unwanted fat.
In the segment, Stephens also goes over common myths of liposuction, the costs, and the results. He reiterates the importance of getting it done by a Board Certified plastic surgeon. Stephens states the risks of what could happen if you don't.
