Like a Rolling Stone
NEW YORK- Singer Bob Dylan's "Like a Rolling Stone" sold at auction for more than $2-million.
It was a working draft of the finished song in Dylan's own hand.
Sotheby's Auction House says the selling price is a world record for a music manuscript.
The work is in pencil on four sheets of hotel letterhead stationary with notes, doodles, revisions and additions.
"Like a Rolling Stone" is considered one of the most popular songs of all time and its about debutante who becomes a longer when she's cast from upper-class social circles.
Dylan wrote the song when he was 24 in 1965.
