Licenses revoked from two child care centers in BR

The Department of Social Services has revoked the operating licenses from "Victoria Kiddie Castle" and "New Dawn Daycare Center" in Baton Rouge.  The centers either had their licenses pulled previously, or had deficiencies on record that raised safety concerns.

DSS officials say the revocations are part of child care licensing reform efforts.  Ten other day cares in the state also had their licenses revoked.
