Less sun, still stormy
Wednesday should not pick up as much afternoon sunshine as Tuesday. Still, enough instability will be available to generate showers and thunderstorms after our daytime maximum in the middle 80s later this afternoon. Any showers and thunderstorms could produce gusty winds, heavy downpours and frequent lightning.
Tonight will be a repeat of the last several and becoming of a summer's night in South Louisiana-- warm, muggy and mostly cloudy with a low in the low 70s.
