Les Miles rappels down building for adoptions
BATON ROUGE - LSU head football coach Les Miles went over the edge today to raise awareness about adoptions.
Miles and others rappelled down the side of the 24-story high-rise at One America Place today as part of the Louisiana Family Forum's "Over the Edge for Adoption" campaign.
The campaign was started to raise awareness about the more than 500 adoptable children in the state's foster program.
The event included Miss Louisiana Lauren Vizza, Louisiana State Senator Fred Mills and Public Service Commissioner Scott Angelle. More people will rappel down the building Friday as well, according to the Louisiana Family Forum.
