BATON ROUGE - LSU football coach Les Miles says that his Tiger football team is hunkered down and planning to ride out Hurricane Isaac.
Miles is currently at the LSU Football Operations building, while most of the players are at their dorms and apartments on campus. Miles acknowledged that the program has shown strong communication to its staff and players through the use of social media.
As of now, LSU still plans to host North Texas Saturday night at 6:00 in Tiger Stadium. Miles said the schedule in the days ahead will depend on the severity of tonight's storm, but that the Tigers will be ready for gameday.
