HB 1443 has been deferred for one week. This bill deals with the privatization of certain DHH mental health hospitals. (Eastern Louisiana Mental Health, Southeast Louisiana Hospital, Central Louisiana State Hospital)

HB 186 by Rep. Hardy failed in the education committee this morning. This bill would have changed gpa requirements for students who want to participate in extracurricular activities.(It would have required a 2.0 "C" average for all 6th through 12th graders)
