SORRENTO – All lanes are open following an accident near US 61 that blocked the left lane of I-10 East near Sorrento Friday afternoon.

The accident happened just after 12 p.m. Friday. DOTD officials say that congestion from the incident has reached three miles in length.

Preliminary sources tell WBRZ that one person suffered non-life threatening injuries when a car flipped over.  Air med and ground crews have responded to the scene.
