Lee Turner murder trial jury selection
BATON ROUGE- A high profile murder trial is set to begin later today in Baton Rouge.
Jury selection will begin in the trial against Lee Turner. The process could take up to two weeks.
Turner is accused of murdering two men at the Carquest Auto Parts store off Siegen Lane.
It happened back in 2011. Prosecutors say Turner was attempting to rob the store, but wound up shooting Edward Gurtner and Randy Chaney when one of them recognized him.
If Turner is convicted of the murders he could face the death penalty.
