WEST FELICIANA- Plans to build a new hospital here are moving forward. Monday night, a land deal was worked-out between the Parish and the group in charge of the hospital.

7.26 acres will be sold to the Hospital Board for a new facility. The property is off Hwy. 61 on Burnett Road in St. Francisville.

The Police Jury agreed to sell the land for $106,000/acre, totaling about $776,000.
