Last step taken on water project

The town of Albany will finally get a long-awaited water expansion project.
The project involves a $3,706,000 bond ordinance, a USDA rural grant of $1,038,000 and a loan of $3,706,000.
The money will be used to expand water lines, buy an existing elevated storage tank and property and connect to existing water lines and well.
