The Lafourche Parish District Attorney's Office will seek the death penalty against four men accused of raping and killing a Cut Off woman earlier this year.

Esdras Garcia, Luis Nava, Jose Moreno and Gonzalo Cortes are accused of repeatedly raping and then killing Angela Laudun after meeting her at a bar.

Hours later, authorities found the woman's body in a wooded area off La. Highway 3235 in Golden Meadow.

An autopsy showed she died from suffocation.

Garcia, Nava, Moreno and Cortes entered not guilty pleas to charges of first-degree murder and aggravated rape.

No trial date has been set.
