LAFAYETTE - Lafayette police are still interviewing people as part of an investigation into the death of a Louisiana-Lafayette student and the severe beating his roommate.

Twenty-year-old Kenneth Donnelly Jr. was found beaten to death, and his roommate was badly beaten in their home last month.

No suspects have been named.

Investigators have a general idea about the possible motive for the crime, but are not ready to publicly release that information.
