Lady Tigers fall to #9 A&M 55-48
COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) - Jordan Jones had 12 points and Curtyce Knox added a career-high 10, including a key basket late to help No. 9 Texas A&M outlast LSU 55-48 on Sunday.
The Tigers led by as many as seven early and got within 2 twice in the game's final minutes. The second time they had a chance to tie it, but Achiri Ade stole the ball from Danielle Ballard and Knox finished on the other end with a layup to make it 52-48.
The Aggies (15-3, 3-1 SEC) added three free throws after that to secure the victory and help them bounce back from an 81-58 loss to No. 7 Tennessee on Thursday with their 12th straight win at home.
Akilah Bethel led LSU (8-8, 2-2) with 13 points and Sheila Boykin had 11.
