HENDERSON - Louisiana State Police have rescued a missing 5-month-old child from Florida.

Officers were on the lookout for a blue Chrysler Town and Country van traveling west on I-10.

Trooper Stephen Hammons says officers stopped the van yesterday afternoon around 4:30 and found the child in the vehicle in good condition.

The van was driven by Gloria Reyes of Orlando, Florida.
She was wanted for aggravated battery with a dangerous weapon in Florida.

Hammons says Reyes was pulled over at the Henderson exit and taken into custody without incident.

This case remains under investigation in Florida.
