WBRZ - Baton Rouge

U.S. Senators Mary Landreiu (D-LA) and David Vitter (R-LA) will accompany Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar and Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano on a tour of Louisiana's coast on Monday.

The group will conduct a flyover of the oil-affected areas, discuss response efforts from federal officials and BP, and meet with community and industry leaders.

The Senators are part of a bipartisan delegation including Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL), Senator Jeff Bingaman (D-NM), Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) and Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI).
