BATON ROUGE- Shreveport pollster Elliot Stonecipher says the race between President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney is too close to call.

Stonecipher told the Baton Rouge Press Club today the numbers will be much different from 2008, when many people were looking for a clear leadership change. He predicts the results will be similar to 2004, when George W. Bush won by a margin of less than two percent.

Stonecipher says issues like Libya and the unemployment rate have not been major factors in polling so far, and early voting has proven to be important in many states, a clear sign voters are making up their minds early.
