Louisiana and Mississippi agencies get a total of nearly $2.2 million to help find uninsured children who are eligible for either of two programs, and enroll them. The aim is to get eligible children into Medicaid or the Children's Health Insurance Program.
The Louisiana State Department of Health and Hospitals got $955,681, and the TECHE Action Board $234,808. The awards are for a two-year period ending Dec. 31, 2011.
