NEW ORLEANS - Louisiana's law banning certain felons from having firearms is heading to the state Supreme Court after a New Orleans judge ruled the law is unconstitutional.

District Judge Darryl Derbigny says the right to bear arms is a "fundamental right" in Louisiana.
