NEW ORLEANS - The Louisiana National Guard is moving back the Jackson Barracks, five years after Hurricane Katrina flooded most of the military post.
Friday there will be a ceremony with military and local officials expected to be on hand when the post becomes the Louisiana National Guard's headquarters.
Half of the Guard's headquarters' staff was moved to Camp Beauregard in Pineville after Katrina.
The other half was in Carville.
