BATON ROUGE - The legislature dealt another blow to the proposed toll loop around Baton Rouge.

Funding for the project was not included in the $2.7 billion construction budget. Iberville, Ascension and Livingston Parish Presidents opposed to loop for various reasons.

East Baton Rouge Parish Mayor-President Kip Holden has said he'll continue to move forward with constructing a loop around the Capital City.
