WBRZ - Baton Rouge

GRAND ISLE - LA 1 south of Fourchon will be closed from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. while construction crews work on damage to the highway caused by Hurricane Isaac, according to Louisiana State Police Tpr. Evan Harrell.

Harrell says the closing of LA 1 will continue every night until further notice. Once the highway is shut down for repairs, no vehicles will be allowed to travel on LA 1 from Grand Isle to Fourchon.
