BATON ROUGE - Pinnacle Entertainment announced their L'Auberge Casino and Hotel in Baton Rouge would hold its grand opening this weekend.

The casino will open with a ceremonial throw of the dice Saturday at 1:45 p.m., according to spokesperson Molly Malloy.

The new casino and hotel in the southern part of the parish had previously planned a grand opening for Aug. 29, but pushed that back due to Hurricane Isaac.

The development includes a 74,000 square foot casino; a 12-story hotel with 206 guest rooms and a rooftop pool; three dining outlets a multi-purpose event center for concerts or other events, and outdoor festival grounds with capacity for up to 2,500.
