Kristen Eargle - Sports Reporter

Kristen Eargle is a sports reporter for WBRZ News 2 Louisiana. She joined the WBRZ team in August of 2008.

Kristen grew up in Germantown, Tennessee.  She attended The University of Memphis, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Communications with an emphasis in Journalism.

Before coming to work for WBRZ News 2 Louisiana, she worked as a sports reporter and producer with Fox 8 New Orleans.  Kristen also worked as a sports reporter and director with HTV10 Houma; she also freelanced as a sports reporter for Inside Zephyrs Baseball, Cox Sports Television, and WHNO-TV20.

Kristen is an avid college football fan and says, “I’m a Tiger too, just a Memphis one.”  She is married to Joshua Eargle, Offensive Line Coach for Nicholls State University.  She says, “Being a coach’s wife gives me a unique perspective when I’m interviewing and doing stories.”
    
In her spare time, Kristen enjoys playing ping pong, which she is dangerously good at, and spending time with her family and black lab, Zoe.
