King Cakes are back on the shelves, marking the start of the carnival season in Louisiana.
At Ambrosia Bakery, Master Baker Johnny Johnson estimates his crew will make nearly 30,000 king cakes.
"I love king cake season!" said Johnson. "It's a lot of work, but it's a lot of fun."
The bakery makes the traditional cakes with a variety of flavors and once created a monster King Cake more than eight feet long.
