The chief justice of Louisiana's Supreme Court has been released from the Neuromedical Rehabilitation Hospital of Baton Rouge, where she was undergoing post-stroke rehabilitation therapy.

Chief Justice Catherine Kimball suffered a stroke on Jan. 10.

A news release from the high court says Kimball will continue to undergo several weeks of therapy as an outpatient.
