Kid Rock and the Confederate flag
DETROIT- There's a move to get General Motors to cut financial ties with Kid Rock over the singer's use of the Confederate flag.
Executives with GM met with the leader of an activist group making the push. GM says it had "a very constructive conversation" with the Reverend Charles Williams II.
In the meantime. GM says it will continue to sponsor Kid Rock's summer concert series. Kid Rock's publicist says the entertainer hasn't used the flag on tour in more than five years.
Williams and the National Action Network have been protesting the flag during Kid Rock performances.
