Keep the politics out
BELMAR, NEW JERSEY- New Jersey Governor Chris Christie says keep the politics out of getting aid to people in Oklahoma trying to recover from a devastating tornado. He says now is "not the time for political retribution", referring to Oklahoma's two Senators who voted against bills sending $60-billion in federal aid to New Jersey after Superstorm Sandy. Christie urged Congress to support "swift and immediate" aid to tornado victims. Christie says two wrongs don't make a right, even though Oklahoma Sens. Tom Coburn and James Inhofe were among 36 who voted no on the aid package for victims of Superstorm Sandy.
