Kansas City cop challenges teens to a dance-off
KANSAS CITY - A few cops got caught on camera busting a few moves with some neighborhood kids.
A group of Kansas City teens had no idea what to expect when two police cars stopped only to challenge them in a dance-off.
According to the teens, the two officers, Officer Smith and Officer Krebs, offered the group of kids with Jolly Ranchers if they would compete in a dance-off with Krebs. Not knowing what to expect, the kids agreed to the sweet deal and the street turned into a dance stage.
The two teams exchanged moves until it was over and the teens claimed victory, but officer Krebs insisted he won as well.
"When I joined the police force I told them I wanted to build rapport with the community because I feel like if we build rapport with them then they are more likely to call us when they need us," Krebs said.
