Just one win away

Five area teams will be laying it all on the line tonight as a chance to play for a state title is just within reach. 

The semi-finals of the high school football playoffs bring a higher level of intensity. 

In 5A, the Catholic Bears will travel to face the runner up from one year ago in West Monroe. In 4A, the undefeated Lutcher Bulldogs will host Neville.  

It will be a war in 3A, Parkview Baptist hosts E.D. White. Both are winners of their districts. In 2A,

Capitol is making their first appearance in the semis since 1999. The Lions travel to powerhouse Evangel for a clash in 2A. 

In 1A the top-ranked St. John of Plaquemine hosts Haynesville.  Tonight, we will have highlights on News2 at 10.
