Jury reaches verdict in Louding murder trial
BATON ROUGE - A jury found accused hitman "Marlo" Mike Louding guilty of first-degree murder charges today.
Louding had been accused of killing Terry Boyd back in October 2009. He faces five additional murder charges for a series of killings over a 14-month period.
Investigators said Louding confessed to killing Boyd after he was paid to do so by Torrence Hatch, also known as the rapper Lil Boosie.
Hatch was found not guilty of of charges he ordered the hit on Boyd. Prosecutors said Louding, who'd been offered a deal to testify against Hatch, changed his story on the stand during Hatch's trial.
